This notice explains what personal data Al Dente Restaurant & Bar collects, why we use it and what you can ask us to do with it. We collect very little, so it is short.

Who we are

Al Dente Restaurant & Bar, 1 Lark Lane, Liverpool L17 8UN, is run by AL DENTE (NW) LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16742279). Our registered office is 48–52 Penny Lane, Mossley Hill, Liverpool L18 1DG.

Booking a table

Bookings are made through ResDiary. You use either the booking form on this website or ResDiary’s own page in a new tab. ResDiary handles the booking for us. It processes:

• your name and contact details
• your party size
• any notes you add
• any deposit, if one is taken

If the booking form offers news or offers, signing up is optional and based on your consent; you can withdraw it at any time.

Enquiries and job applications

When you email or phone us, for example about a group booking or a Christmas party, we use your details to reply. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering you.

If you email us a job application, we use it to consider you for the role. The lawful basis is the steps you ask us to take before a possible employment contract.

Our website

The company that hosts this website keeps server logs. They record your IP address, your browser and the pages you request. They are kept for a short time, for security and troubleshooting. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the website safe and working.

We use no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies.

The ResDiary booking form may set its own cookies when you open it, and only then. ResDiary’s privacy policy explains them.

Our links to Instagram, Facebook, Tripadvisor and Google Maps take you to those websites, which have their own privacy policies. Nothing loads from them until you click.

How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only as long as we need it:

• Bookings: as long as needed to manage your booking, for example to deal with a question after your visit. ResDiary’s policy explains how long it keeps booking records.
• Enquiries and job applications: as long as needed to deal with them.
• Server logs: for a short time, as above.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• ask for a copy of your data (access)
• have your data corrected (rectification)
• have your data deleted (erasure)
• restrict how we use your data (restriction)
• object to how we use your data (objection)
• receive your data in a portable form (portability)

Some of these rights apply only in certain situations. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
